Hmm... I don't think Pantalea in any anime. But Akiko Shikata indeed sing some of anime song, like the opening of Tales of Symphonia, or Umineko no Naku Koro Ni.
Well, at her Wiki, Akiko Shikata's Music Style is usually been called "Neo Classical Dark Wave" Music. But don't ask me more about it, because I always think Akiko Shikata has her own Music Style.
Because I disagree with labeling a lot of Shikata as darkwave (Pantalea being a very good example), I've come up with the term "neofolk", which I feel really embodies the sort of style it is. I don't know if it's used elsewhere with other meanings, but that's how I call it.

Akiko's songs reminds me of the old days -- It always gives me nostalgic feelings. And maybe I'm just weird but, I can also somehow smell the rain from back then. Its.. quite different now. Its really nice to come back here once in a while as I believe it has been 7 years since I discovered this video while browsing for more anime-ish music lol. Hoping this never gets taken down!
The amazing this about this type of music is that it’s very similar to Bulgarian folk music. I’m Bulgarian and I grew up hearing about traditional Japanese music and we always had our nation’s choir travelling to Japan to perform. I’m glad Japan and my country have this connection. Oh and love our yogurt haha, apparently is sold in Japan. Man Japan is an amazing country!

What's even sadder is that I'm pretty sure that her songs could be found on Spotify a couple of years ago, but then one day they're just gone ;-;
I had her stuff in a playlist I added in 2018 and it's still there (This content is not available) but they removed her music since then.
That's why I love UA-cam and UA-cam Music , it has every song . More songs than Spotify , unreleased songs , remixes and much more . Literally thousands if not millions of Japanese songs are unavailable on Spotify :*) . UA-cam has all the songs tho , if it's not available , it's on premium

Well, at her Wiki, Akiko Shikata's Music Style is usually been called "Neo Classical Dark Wave" Music. But don't ask me more about it, because I always think Akiko Shikata has her own Music Style.
this sounds like European folk music, i saw a comment saying it sounds similar to Bulgarian folk.
Because I disagree with labeling a lot of Shikata as darkwave (Pantalea being a very good example), I've come up with the term "neofolk", which I feel really embodies the sort of style it is. I don't know if it's used elsewhere with other meanings, but that's how I call it.

Akiko's songs reminds me of the old days -- It always gives me nostalgic feelings. And maybe I'm just weird but, I can also somehow smell the rain from back then. Its.. quite different now. Its really nice to come back here once in a while as I believe it has been 7 years since I discovered this video while browsing for more anime-ish music lol. Hoping this never gets taken down!

The amazing this about this type of music is that it’s very similar to Bulgarian folk music. I’m Bulgarian and I grew up hearing about traditional Japanese music and we always had our nation’s choir travelling to Japan to perform. I’m glad Japan and my country have this connection. Oh and love our yogurt haha, apparently is sold in Japan. Man Japan is an amazing country!
